I supported a rerun, but a couple of drivers did not agree with this idea, so the results will stand from last night. That was the fair thing to do, since there was nothing the rules would state about rerunning that particular race. We would have rerun it only if all agreed.

Everything should be updated tomorrow.

3 disconnects at one time should mean a rerun. I'm sure the only reason people were against a rerun is because they either won or gained points on the people disconnected. Should run it again next Friday since there is no busch race

And one of the ones who opposed is and will not be in points contention all year long. They just wanted to keep their top 5 finish. But it is sure funny that the second and third place in points gets disconnected at the same time as well as another driver and they were having a hell of a run.

well i was running 6th when you all got disc...and it really sux cause i;ve had it happen to me before to get disco...but are you going to rerun a race if 3 people get disco in the future not saying they do all at once but 3 during the whole race ,i think not.... it sux they all went out at once but if they were disco thruout the race it would not be ran over,.. so why rerun it now.. its happened to other people when they were running good and there was never a rerun i have no problem rerunning it but ...don't be like NASCAR if you set a precedent then stick to it for everyone that gets disco... then we will be rerunning races all year.....but if thats what ya want then lets rerun it....but v6 since you didn;t make the original race it wouldn;t be fair to let ya in this one...

Just a note to EVERYONE, I have the weakest internet connection in the Cup series, but yet I finished the race. Maybe I was just lucky, I know the net is a finicky thing.

I knew my connection Saturday night was pretty weak, so I rebooted, I ran a speed test to make sure I was OK, and I shut down ALL unnecessary programs.

Well I was one of the ones that got disco'd Saturday (at least I'm assuming at the same time as the others), and it really doesn't matter to me if it's re-run or not. I think the idea for a re-run came from the fact that all 3 drivers disco'd at the same time. If it had been at different times, then it's likely a problem with individual computers or connections of the drivers, but given that it was at the same time suggests that it was a problem with the server or it's connection...not saying it's that for sure, or that there will be future problems, that's just what it appears to be. Like I said it really doesn't matter to me, and if there's someone who's against a re-run then we shouldn't do it, no matter how close-minded those people are being. LOL j/k
