Pit Road Rules

Post by Skoty Speed »

Due to site updates and the confusion of making a new site, the pit road rules aren't on the rules page at this time. Most of you followed the rules we put in place last season at Daytona, but a few seemed to forget about them. Since it's not on the rules page at this time it was not penalized.
However, the pit road rules will be enforced at North Carolina. The propper pitting procedure is as follows....

Upon entering pit road, at the pit road speed limit, you must stay in the lane farthest away from the pit stalls. Most tracks that will be the far right lane. When entering your stall you may pass through the 2 stalls behind your pit box. When leaving your stall you may pass through the 2 stalls ahead of your pit stall. Provided, of course, that those stalls are empty. When leaving you pit stall, oncoming traffic has the right of way. You must wait until it is clear before you pull out of your stall. If you pull out in front of another car causing a wreck, you may be subject to a penalty. Once you leave your stall you are again required to use the far right lane or the lane farthest away from the pit stalls.

If you have any questions please ask.
