2 I think works well. Maybe allow updating the 2 but they have to keep the same car.tex number for the one they are replacing. That way if you don't download the new one before you still have one to see.

I'm indifferent regarding 2 versus 3, but more than 3 might cause some confusion. We do have the "one week" rule, however, so that would probably limit the "pre-race searching chaos" explained in the rules page.

I think the current 3 scheme limit works well...

I think 3 is perfect. Allows two sponsors and a team car. Or three sponsors.

anymore than three IMO is too much.

I guarantee that BMX and Mustang are the two that voted for 5.

Personally, I would have to say that 3 is a good amount too. I myself am not much of a painter, but for those who are, I would assume that half the fun is in the actual painting. Plus, it gives some variety, but not too much where it is hard to know who is who.

3 works fine. 1 question though, does 3 include the ingame or 3 custom cars?

3 is perfect. Also let's not forget that even though the ingame cars came with the mod. Bover & Friends painted all those cars. Don't be afraid to run a ingame either.
