Great racing JB and Cruise! We were all racing hard for that 4th place. JB, you ran a smart strategy by maxing out your fuel run all the way before that last pit stop. You had just that much more tire than me at the end, and I lost the car with a couple laps to go, trying to stay ahead of ya. I'm just glad I didn't collect ya, because I would have been crushed if I did. Way to go, bud.

Per the rules this race did not have the minimum number of drivers. It might not get scored. Don't be disappointed all. We can reschedule.

The acting admin decided to go ahead with the race. Why would this be an issue?

For the love of god, does everyone not see how bullshit this whole 10 driver limit is? It is not noticeable that there are much fewer people not only playing this game, but not racing in this league? We had 8 drivers ready to go, all who obviously practiced, and all who had clean competitive races with fellow racers. It doesn't, and will never, require a minimum of ten drivers to have a good race. Stop penalizing people who show up and are ready to race.

Was this really not expected though? Last season we had 29 drivers sign up for the Cup series, and even then it was a struggle to get ten drivers for numerous races. Was this not expected when only 19 drivers signed up for nbs? Some people need to get a clue it seems. If its one thing I hate, its my time being wasted.

Really needed, Mustang? If anyone didn't see the sarcasm in hammer's "you're not my dad" comment, I have some real estate to sell them. It'd be a non issue if people showed up and raced, and didn't only show up at the easy tracks and plate tracks.

I have to echo bover's sentiments. Even if you think you're slow or stink at a track, we really do encourage you to come. Regardless of its difficulty level. We're not going to look down at anyone for trying and making mistakes. That's how you get better. Skipping a challenging track actually makes your deficiencies worse in the long run. You can fall into a cycle of poor performance, because not every week is Daytona or Talladega.

We also encourage you to seek advice, such as in the Setups and Strategies forum. I haven't seen a lot of recent requests, but I'd be happy to respond to some questions. With our current series format, there might be opportunities to do some official practices, if that is of interest to members.

wow..this thread is starting to get some excitement in here!! If just one more guy could throw in his 2 cents worth, we might be able to build this thing up into a full blown argument or at the minimum a small debate? :-$ :reporting

I think this discussion should include people who actually showed up to the race, not those who were scared too scared to race.

The only real solution here will be found on the track, in the form of competition. :spanking

I'd say investing too much emotion into a video game is the same thing.
