Mustang's truck had the imprint of a toyota tundra grill on his bumper? Also found some orange paint on it... Hmmm!!!! BACK off tj..... ive heard of bump drafting but not bump grinding / smashing. Good race all. Thanks to lepage for a great series. Thanks to Jrich for jumping aboard with LLM. LLM trucks were lined up but Jrich blew his engine =/. First top 10 =D

everyone who started from like 10th on back, give yourselves a good pat on the back. We all got lined up pretty quick and no major issues and ran the lead pack down by the 1st stop. great job everyone. :alien:

BMX...

I am the first to admit that I am far, very far, from "good" at this racing. I know I have caused people headaches and probably screwed people up during races, but good night.... you need to first worry about the plank in your own eye before you worry about the dust in another man's (refering to your comment about tj wild). About 5-6-7 laps in I was about 1/4 of a lane above the yellow line in turn 2. You dove down under me and about wiped myself and 2 others guys out. The second, the very second, you get behind a lapped truck you want them out of your way right now, but when you are that lapped down truck you are like Juan Montoya and refuse to move. As I said, I am fully aware of my mistakes, lack of talent, and newest member status, but don't go around calling out other people when you make many of the same mistakes yourself. The purpose of this is not to swear at you, make fun of you, call you names, or belittle you... but rather to maybe make you contemplate some things. Just some food for thought!

thanks D. and roush u dint have to tell him EZ atleast 5 times in the same lap then he slammed me into petty causing me about half front spoiler damg. tj next time just dont bump draft so hard and often mainly when your that close and fast its not gonna do much.... as i was 0.1 away from petty...
i know how hard it is to see out of the front if your using chase view you gotta use the shadow. (i am not perfect either just dont want to get wrecked on a SS)

Actually a pretty good race. I would have to say BMX and Mustang did a good job around me. I can't speak for any other drivers. I thought Mustang did a great job drafting me, believe me i was nervous but after a lap i said to myself "Mustang understands drafting'. You and I would have been hooked up again and had a better finish if you didn't get a Black Flag. Good way to end out the season. Mustang good run, now do that at every track and you'll be fine.
Also a big Congratulation to Lepage on Winning the Championship. Very well done. DavisV congratulations on 2nd Place great battle all season. Thanks to ALL my teammates at MAX Racing, was another great year. Thanks to Donaldson for showing up and having some pretty good battles like always. Thanks to all the drivers out there, was a fun mini-series. Thanks NHRL and The Admins.
Also, Good Win Reef. All Rise! LOL

Not quite sure I totally understand your post Mustang, I may have read it wrong, but if you were trying to say "Roush... you did not need to tell him (BMX) EZ 5 times in the same lap" you are mistaken. If you read in the tech support posts, I have a hard time just typing pppp and xxxx let alone trying to say something to somebody during the race. So, there was nothing said to BMX by me during the race! Must have been somebody else you are thinking of. If I misunderstood your comment Mustang, I am sorry.

I should get move of the race for being able to slide across and through the rear pack to avoid Roush after being tagged by Smokey just as started to lay down the Pedal and keep from Creaming everyone from 12th on back. And this occurred maybe 15 feet BEFORE the Start line .( not thier faults)Just Another reason for a rule change for a one lap pace lap allowing ALL COMPETITORS TO HAVE A FAIR START. I could have asked for a restart for a bad grid ( watch replay) except for my excellent save and the fact that everyone else got a good start. So I let it go ( not that i would have gotten one anyway) but I let it go....and go it did .......stranded and alone I did what i could ....Even dragging up to 6 or more Drivers for the last 9 -10-or 11 laps ,(im not sure, could be less) while engaged in a fast 3rd gear >>DavisV behind me on back to whoevr was in rear!.Then i ran out with a lap to go.and got booted by ? as i coasted in ... =D> =D> to me for "sportmanslike" run. and Congratulations to Reef for a great win.

I could have asked for a restart for a bad grid ( watch replay)
Exactly the reason I dove low on the grid because I'm now apprehensive about asking for a grid restart. I might not get one so instead I took the chance and recieved a penalty. The lesser of two evils.

=D> Rook, when I first watch any replay of a race, I always switch to the last vehicle in the field , in far chase mode and
review how the grid lined up.Your move to the inside was the first thing that caught my eye, and it was a excellent maneuver ,and in my opinion, was only done , to avoid any sort of what appeared was gonna be a collision as a separation had started to form in the middle of the field and the remaining cars were scrunching up as the grid sometimes does .No penalty should have been issued. When the field initially starts moving , no driver has any type of control of his vehicle until that particular driver's vehicle crosses the plane of the start line.Even if a driver was to hold his foot on the brake ,or on the accelerator, no action would occur until the packet was sent ,recieved,a calculation by the computer, and a return packet sent, and recieved for the action to occur.Approximate time would be different almost every time depending on numerous other things happening etc,etc.etc.Thats why Smokey ran into me and i almost hit a slower Roush. All that time frame and all three of our computers and it has to be somewhat close or wham. The further into the field ,the more calculating, etc. the slower the server will be to respond ,sometimes it catches itself up ,or ??
Now, I explained all that ,for your defense of the penalty, and to reinforce the need for a pace lap, IN All RACES,to allow all this computer calculation amongst server and user computer to be completed .it only makes sense.PERIOD.
Ok, are there any PERRY MASON'S out there? ...........PROVE ME WRONG>Give me a reason not to implement this rule. Only one i can think of ,would be if i always got a pole position, or good start up front, my computer would be done and on through all that calculating by the time a slowdown occured amongst the other competitors. But that only helps
reinforce my position
> welll.....?????any arguments against... :doubt: :doubt: :doubt:

Im not gonna quibble about the 10 point penalty for rough driving (incurred on pit road I guess), even though it did knock me out of the top ten  thus allowing Tean NHRL to bask in the limelight. No, I reviwed the infraction and I just wanted to say that I thought Jrfan381 was running out of gas, and he may have been, we were dodging them all night on pit road. But there was never any contact to my recollection and on the replay too. I did see him strike the wall in his pit stall on replay but, did I do that? I was not intentional nor "payback" for Darlington. Im not that way, just so you know Jrfan. Im only that way with members of Team NHRL.

If the inside line slowed some that could have been some fault of mine, unfortunately I didnt save the replay to check and see.I know I shifted into 3rd a little early and lost some momentom, but d3 was behind me and we never made contact,he actually showed enough patience to let me get up to speed and after 5 or 6 laps or so I pulled us back up to the lead group.I knew when I shifted to soon there may be a problem,I was listening to see if I heard any contact behind me but I never did.I also saw some one ask for a RS not sure who that was,but I kept digging.Actually I think by the first stop the group I was in pulled up to maybe the top 4 to 8 positions.I screwed myself in 2 of the 3 stops I made by going to far forward in my pitstall, making sure I didnt clip Viper and gave him enough room to exit. The only good stop I made was by myself!! And like Speedy I spent most of the race after the first stop riding around alone.Very boring, lol.

Post race analysis. After the tally race I heard many comments about how vets were teaming up and weren't working with others on the track. And how there is no need to practice plate tracks. I've thought about it for a week and I can't hold back any longer.
I pushed everyone I came upon in the race that was cruisin at race speed for at least a lap. But if they were slow or didn't drive the preferred line then I dumped them. And if anyone who was at practice saw someone that didn't practice, they might not want to waste precious time learning the absent drivers method of procedure. That is a great portion of what practice is for. Who leads fastest, who pushes best, who runs my line, who do I avoid, how many laps is every going, and how fast, does my car make the laps I want, is my gear right, does my car suck up good or bad and behind who best, can I take 2 tires or no tires , etc etc etc etc etc? I can go on forever. So yes practice is very important at plate tracks. Now if a driver didn't see a particular car in practice and he has an option other that to team up with that car during a race, then he will take the alternate option. You would be suprised at how much info is shared amongst all the drivers that practice frequently. And not limited to teams only. There is even more info shared in ventrillo which only the same few drivers use. Whew! I feel better already.
I realize that some of you have a life and don't have time to be practicing or waiting for others to show in the server to practice with. Nothing wrong with that. Just don't plan on winning. Can I get an AMEN!
