New League Questioning??

I am thinking of starting new league and gathering new deivers with these new mod leagues??

Several CART leagues have been attempted and none ever seem to work out. I do not think it is a very popular mod. Formula 1 is a nice mod, but the setup-making process for road courses or even ovals turns some drivers away.

They don't really generate strong leagues cause there hasn't been an american open wheel game for the pc since like 1996 and your trying to draw from a stock car crowd. Not trying deflate the desire but I would be shocked if you were to get at least 7-10 guys strong week in and week out. Until there is a new Open Wheel Game specifically, its gonna be really hard to find a fan base for the league.

As for F1 there have been several new games which eclipse this mod. Like lepage said setups are difficult to find a balance since the game is based on stock car racing.

there is an open wheel mod for nr2003 season. I think you will have a better time finding drivers for that game then for heat, since so many people are still playing nr2003 season.

Hey catch, I've been playing around with that open wheel mod now for about a week, and it's alot of fun!!
