I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but after downloading the 1.80 patch, I now can't get into multiplayer wo/ my computer locking up. If anyone is having this same problem, or knows how they could solve it please let me know, thanks.

I had the same problem Actlabs. I have Panda Anti-virus software and I turned it off and tried again and it worked like a champ.
