LCD Flat Panel?

I just ordered me an LCD flat panel display. It's a 6ms 17" model. Is anyone else racing with one of these? I wanted to get one for a while now. These darn 17" CRT monitors are so darn deep, I had to cut out a hole in the back of my desk to let the back end of my monitor stick thru it to clear my wheel, when I got the momo last year.

So, how does heat and nr2003 run on those? I got the one I got because it was only a 6ms response time instead of 8, 12 16 or 25 like the other models I was looking at.

It came in today, and it looks beautiful, but it's hurting the livin @#%$ out of my eyes. Will that go away? How do I fix it?

LOL adjust the setting of the contrast, brightness etc
It takes time to get use to it.

If you have a Nvidia card, there are some adjustments to make in the GPU that will help.

I did find a brightness setting there, which I lowered a tiny bit. Seems to be easier on the eyes now, but still could use a little bit improvement. Like I said, Looks beautiful, Just hurts the eyes some.
