Getting back into HEAT

Post by SteveMcGarrett »

I know this questions has probably been asked about a million times, but here it is again....

I'm getting back into HEAT after being away for a couple of years and would really appreciate it if someone could post a step by step guide on which downloads (and links if possible) and in what order to install them so that I can run 43 real drivers, in their 2006 schemes. I would also like to replace the Pontiacs with Dodges.

I've already patched to 1.80 and added in the Brickyard, but being a Kyle Petty fan I would love to add him and many others into the mix to make it as realistic as possible.

Thanks in advance for any info you can supply. Once I'm up to speed I'll see you on the track (that will be me with the yellow stripes on my rear bumper).

So far as I know, I think the most recent carset available is the 2004, or is it 2005 carset available right her in the downloads section of the NHRL website. The instalation instructions should be self explanatory. That's probably the most recent you're gonna get. The dodge paint schemes will be there.

Thanks for the help. I'm trying to d/l the 2k4 set off of this site but the link appears to be dead. What are some other sites that carry it?

Only this site, because the NHRL made the set. Ain't as many peeps playing heat as other games, so ain't as many carsets.
