End of Year awards?

Are we going to have year end awards like driver of the year, rookie of the year, most popular, etc. We should do it for both divisions.

We most certainly will. I think using the polling section of the forums is the best option so the drivers can vote.

There might be a few awards that Skoty Speed, fatfreddy, and I decide amongst ourselves to give out to others. The majority of the awards will go by popular vote.

The final site wrap up for the stock car divisions will probably be done in 2 or 3 weeks, so we can start the poles around then too.

Make sure everyone keeps visiting the site and its forums for voting updates and season-ending ceremony stuff!

Some sample ideas (camry and others can post more ideas if you want):

There will be separate awards between the 2 divisions.

- Driver of the Year
- Most Popular Driver
- Most Improved Driver
- Hard Luck Driver
- Rookie of the Year (these are NHRL rookies, not racing rookies necessarily)
- New Sim Driver of the Year (the "new guy" in sim racing)
- Sub of the year
- Goon of the year?
- Most Likely to Win First Race in 2004
- Most Likely to Improve in 2004
