Track Changes...

Well i would have put up a poll but im not allowed to do so...

I would like to know what others think, the mod squad released 04 tracks for many of the current tracks,

i think that we should be racing these tracks instead of the outdated ones that in some cases do not look the same as the new ones at all. This would most likely take place next season over this one because this season is allready set...
Let me know what you all think... i just think it would make the racing much better...

The updated tracks are certainly a possibility. If someone can verify that the track itself is the same, with just logos changed and Nextel elements added, that would make our job much easier.

well... for example the the New Hampshire track that we race is very outdated, the 04 version that was released is the current version of the track which produces much better racing, including side-by-side.... i would assume that many of the other 04 tracks that were released are mostly visual changes and pavement changes.... probally the same besides that!!

I checked out the New Hampshire 04 track and a few others. They're all just updated tex files. The tracks themselves are exactly the same. I would assume they are a higher res than the original tex file so an online test would be advisable.

yeah.... i downloaded them tracks a while back. i was all excited to hopefully see the new stuff.... even if it was just going to be new signs and such.
i put the stuff in my run folder..... and "nothing"
the dang thing didn't work.... or i didn't install them right
