site suggestion

got an idea.
it takes for ever for this web site to load.
and because of all the fancy stuff...... my computer crashes about every 3rd visit to this web site.
my suggestion is to get rid of the "scrolling league updates" at the top.... and the scrolling thingy on the left side of the home page.
these two things haven't been updated with any new information since the end of the season last year.....
and i think all they do now is cause issues with the web page loading slowly..... and for me... it causes my PC to crash.
i vote to get rid of the fancy scrolling stuff. it's useless.
