Question about mod

Post by P McSkip »

I downloaded the 2006CTS mod but it doesn't have a .exe file to load the game. Where can I get it?

If you are talking about the shortcut to launch the game I don't think it came with one. I think you have to use mod launcher or create your own shortcut which I don't know how to do so I just use mod launcher. If you mean an .exe to install the mod then I have no idea.

I personally never use mod launcher. It can sometimes create warp issues....

You can create a shortcut for any heat mod you want to, I'll use the 2006 CTS mod as an example....

you simply creat a shortcut with the following Target...
"C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\Nascar Heat\NHeat.exe" -mod:2006cts -noautoplay

"Start in" should read "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat"

Yeah all the skies that are in the schedule as night races that don't have a night sky for the track show up with a red sky.

If you search the board over at the mod squad, they have a fix for it. You have to have certain versions of certain tracks or something...

Shabby work if you ask me. lol.
