I don't think anyone actually survived lol. It was more who got the least damage and who got damaged at the right times.

Was there anybody that had a clean truck (no damage) at the end of this race? I consider myself lucky for keeping clean 1 tire run without a wreck. All I can say is wow. Yes there was constant action that demanded full attention. I enjoyed it. I would like to apologize to MB2 for my harsh tones in vent, ie my red car comments. You were red because I didn't unzip your paint. And to all the rookies that were in the verbal liberties channel on vent, there's plenty of opinions expressed freely in vent during races. Please don't take them as personal attacks. And as always if anyone is feeling disrespected, please bring it to the attention of an official or any driver you feel comfortable with. I would like to welcome all the rookies to this series. It's hard intense racing at its finest. I hope to see even more drivers next week at Dover. And if anyone needs help with sets or practice contact Dave0 aka wildfire.

I stayed pretty well clean until the last pit stop when I t-boned a lapped truck who had wrecked I guess that was blocking the access road exit.

That's ok, I was hoping I could just get by you, but you came right in front of me and I couldn't avoid you. LOL, no biggy, not the first truck that collected me, the first one was sitting right across the track and I t-boned him real hard...damaged my truck big time. But all in all it was interesting, specially considering it was my first ONLINE race. Was hanging out in the top 10 for quite a while till I got collected. Oh well, I'll see what I got for Dover.

just so everyone knows, all the wrecking is usually the exception and not the rule in our NHRL events. sure with all the new folks (and old lol) and the amount of participants there will be big ones dispite our best efforts. it's ok as long as we ARE giving our best efforts. this means at least 5 hours or 500 miles of practice per event minimum (really, I'm not joking) and extensive pit practice on OLD worn out tires. please practice an entire fuel run so you know what to expect from your truck because any time you wreck yourself or someone else, it will probably collect up someone else who did put the time in. I hate to sound like im on a soapbox or lecuring because god knows i've caused a few myself, I'm just trying to help the new guys.

Definitely one of the craziest races I've been a part of in my NHRL career. Too bad I'll miss all the fun at Dover and Martinsville. See y'all back on the track in January.

I had a dude block me for a while, then when I finally passed him, he rearended me and spun me out. I didn't hit anything. (I too, had one of those 'T-bone' incedents later on) My point is we don't "Block" here. I'm not saying you have to give the line and "Let anyone pass", but by God, if someone gets a fender on ya, DON'T RUN HIM DOWN TO THE APRON!!!!!! We just don't do that here.

By all means run ur line, and it's up to the faster truck to safely pass you, WHILE YOU SAFELY RACE UR LINE.

My two cents.

Note: message was delayed by me not wanting to say it the wrong way. lol.

yeah it sounds to me like a rookie that was running his line and wasnt waching what he was doing and he thought he could pass you back maybe by a bump and run and he bumped you a littel to hard,..but running you down on to the appron, boy I dont know about that,...I think if it where me I would have gottin together with him and tryed to push him back up to the wall or backed out and put him into the wall the next time. But as vettrins we should know better right lol.

Another thing is, you gotta remember this phrase in "Thin" server racing: "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear". I'm the guiltiest of all when it comes to that. I think I made a little bit of progress practicing with you guys at Daytona lastnight, I'm getting the steering settings down a great deal better than before, the "tail wag" is just about gone. So as far as all that goes, I hopefully shouldn't cause much grief tonight.
