My dial up connection
My dial up connection
Well gentlemen, it was a good run. 8 years on dial up. I don't do a lot of downloading (obviously with a dial up connection) but since joining the league, and being hindered not only in the aspect of the connection, it also took a lot of time and patience to download tex files, tracks etc. on the old school connection. So with no more further delay...Petty Racing is glad to announce their new movement into another realm of technology. Cable. "It's very nice" as Borat would say. So with that I am happy not for myself but all of my fellow competitors and NHRL. Lepage has been quite understanding with me and I can't put into words what that means to me. I've tried to join since the days of IRF, but my connection always is what kept me out of it. I really appreciate the admins. for their understanding, and all my other fellow drivers for their understanding and patience when going thru this transformation. It's better for all of us now, and hell who knows...I might get faster!? Heh Heh. With Pleasure Gentlemen.

You did a lot better with dial-up than a whole slew of dudes on Cable/DSL......
Way to go man!

Re: My dial up connection
I agree. If some of those races I did with you were on dial up....your dial up rocked.
