I already set compatibility to yes, cause it caused conflict with vent when set to no. Now, how do I insert my own music? I'm partial to Mozart. I saw something in there about music file.....

You have to crack the ui.res file for whichever mod you want to modify the music for...

Then you save your song as a 22.5 mono .wav file, and convert it to song.sfx

Then you recompile your ui.res file.

I wouldn't recomend doing all this. You could mess up ur game. Plus, it only works when navigating menus anyhow....

With reef's method, you can listen while driving.

Hey, I had to put something in there.... lol.

No matter what I put in there; Puddle of Mudd, Motzart, Or P-dickey combs, someone wouldn't have liked it.

At least it wasn't the Macerena! lol.

I know I could turn the volume down all the way, but I don't. I just find myself running the song through my head when I go to bed after a lot of practice....starting to wonder if I am the one....LOL

Bover,
Is there a way you can redo that file with more than one song or can it only be one? "maybe it's the one". There is a song by the classic punk/modern group the Buzzcocks and in 1999 put the record Modern. Song title is 'Don't let the car crash', once i heard that song i thought it would be a good song for a Nascar game. Check it out. Plus you could do it Bover! lmao. \:D/

The problem is, that if you append songs into one file, it gets really big. The SFX files are made out of wav files, which aren't compressed like mp3's. I don't know how big one could make the file, but if it gets too big, who knows....

Sorry, no modifications from me, lol, except for when I get the pit crews finished. That, and one or two little grahphical fixes, will come in one patch which will be Totally unecessary, and weather people DL it or not, won't affect a thing.
