About posting Screenshots....

Post by bover907 »

Hey guys.. When you take a screenie of your cars to show off, how about taking the extra time to cut out a pic just the size of your car and eliminate the rest of the screenshot. That way the forum page won't be really wide, with a horizontal scroll bar there. It'll make the threads more readable. I usally try to make my screenies around 600 to 700px wide.... like the one below.

That one there is 651px wide.

just taking your advice bover, normally i would always shrink any picture down, but after that post, i figured you'd want all the beauty, not a shrunken representation of the paint. in any case, i agree the screenshots post too big on the site

Well, what I do, is.... knowing my screenie will be 1280x1024, I just make the car be about a third to half of the screen, then take the screenshot. After I do that, I just cut out the part of the screenshot that has the car in it.
