I haven't had this happen. Only thing that happens to me once in a while, is I'll accidently hit the darn edit button on my keyboard. It's between the windows and alt buttons, and with the right combination of keystrokes, it will cut all your text out of a text window. I've had it happen a few times. I've almost gotten pissed enough to open up my keyboard and defeat that darn button. I've had whole pages of shit typed only to erase them by accident.

It sounds like your problem is diffferent, though, because something's telling you you have to log in. I dunno.

As for your over typing, the key "insert" on your keyboard will enable/disable the overwrite feature of your computer... This is similar to one of the lock keys, caps, num... Unfortunately it does not have a light as the others, allthough if you open word or excell, there is a light on the bottom for it..

Anyways, this feature will "replace" current "spaces" instead of moving "spaces" over, this includes "spaces" with characters in them..

The next time this happens hit your insert or ins key & try it again..

Not sure about the red box & logging in things..

The admins don't delete posts. They leave them all there for everyone to laugh at.
