From Bover's brush
Here's one that I like. It's Dan's Cup ride based on Jeff Burton's 09 Caterpillar Chevy.

just beauuuuuuutiful. I'm also glad Grove went with the "classic" #3 paint. I've always liked that, and you made it look REALLY good. Thanks again Bov!

Re: From Bover's brush
Nah, I wouldn't do that if I were you. Granted Davis had been running Carl's schemes for a couple seasons, but Here we claim Numbers, not paint schemes. You thought of it first. You painted it. I'm sure as far as everyone is concerned, it's yours, bud.

Re: From Bover's brush
A lot of you guys are getting pretty darn good at painting, so I figured I'd better raise the bar.
Team Thunder Racing, and Bover's Custom Paintshop Proudly present The #53 Scotts Water Smart Chevy Impala!
(inspired by Carl Edward's 2008 Nationwide Series Paint).
The base was completely done by me, down to every last detail, including lovingly placing each blade of grass! I made the scotts logos from scratch too. The watersmart logo was from the Scotts web site.
Below is an ingame shot, and a pic of Carls car for comparison.
Consider the bar raised

Amazing job Bover! Too bad you had to ruin it though by putting a Carl scheme on a Chevy Impala! Scotts and anything Carl Edwards related belongs only on a Ford Fusion! Lol.

Not unlike my last year's GoDaddy scheme on a Dodge.RoushFenway9916 wrote:Amazing job Bover! Too bad you had to ruin it though by putting a Carl scheme on a Chevy Impala! Scotts and anything Carl Edwards related belongs only on a Ford Fusion! Lol.
This kinda stuff happens all the time in Nascar. Office Depot on a Toyota, Napa on a Toyota, Bud on a dodge. It's where the money is at. Trust me, if the Deal was right, you'd see that scheme on a chevy, dodge or toyota next week.
I just stick to one manufacturer, but paint whatever I see that I like. Tay I see it, It wouldn't look right if I drove a different manufacturer for every scheme I had.
Couple years ago, While Waltrip was in DEI, I painted his scheme on a dodge for myself. That's the beauty of painting
