Are u having trouble in Multiplayer online racing? I The day b4 our Cup race, I was getting booted out of multiplayer just when the Splash screen to go in game would come on.My log file when i read it said something about not be able to find a player's car.After this happening at least 10 times,I deleted all the Carxxx.tex files in That mod except mine(which was NHRL CUP) and redownloaded all the .tex files (making sure i only downloaded the correct .tex files,and not the .tex files that some players later replaced with updated ones,in other words I ONly downloaded the updated versions).This fixed whatever the problem was. Just thought I'd mention this for those having troubleas a "first try this" fix.

I had the same problem, and it was RIGHT before the sprint race at Daytona for NHRLCup. It was too late to re-download everything, so I quickly looked at all my .car files in windows explorer, and one was only half the size in KB as the rest, so I figured that was the offending car and deleted it.

That fixed it for the race, and I re-downloaded the car aftward and all is well.

Only difference in my problem and yours was my game was crashing at the track loading screen.

So, if you keep getting CTD's (crash to desktop) check your .car files and redownload if necessary.

My mistake Bover, I referred to the screen that loads after all players click on "GO" in server chat area as a "splash screen". Is that a "track" loading screen?well whatever its called,at the very end of it,is when it would crash on me.
