I lost my Ventrilo connection somehow and redownloaded the 3.04 version that i had been running.Only now after i install it and click on the ventrilo icon ,I get an error that states...
"The Ventrilo.exe is linked to missing export dsound.dll:11" .Is it possible my old vent connection is still connected to
a prior soundfile? any one got an ideas on this?

Re: Ventrilo problem
I had to delete ventrilo completely and then download it again. That might fix your problem.

Re: Ventrilo problem
yes . i went thru whole system uninstalled and went thru registry also. I found the error listing in FAQ's inon Main ventrilo website and it says the error is from my operating system not from ventrilo program. Oerating system is only supposed to display this error if I"M not up to date on Directx9.0c which i am.Also i'm getting an error from Directx saying my Dxdiag.exe
version is 4.07 and tells me to update it to match my Directx 9.0c version (which is 4.09.000etc)so i redownloaded dx 9.0c and i still have dxdiag 4.07.. (Dxdiag is a diag tool for checking directx files..usually i just type dxdiag in the "Run" space and viola ,it appears ..But how do u delete or remove an older version of dxdiag)By installing a newer version of Directx !!
........Stupid computer is getting closer to the dumpster!

Did you try googling the dll error? May give you more direction.
