Post by bmxtwins »

On the backstretch...
Strait from the rules page...
Exiting Pit Road: At Brickyard, drivers must follow the narrow exit lane leading to the back straight, checking for incoming cars and remaining in the left-most groove until reaching turn 3. MP Pocono, in contrast, has no exit lane; like at super speedways, a driver may proceed directly to the racing surface, remaining to the left until reaching the turn 1.

Thanks Duster. Seems pretty straightforward to me. Case closed?

Ok and we stay to the RIGHT of the white line on the ramp or just drive safely where we want on the ramp?

BMX. You're making this sooo much harder than it has to be....

You can pretty much drive the access road in any lane. The're pretty narrow anyway.

Edit:
Enter pit road by staying low after you exit from turn 4. Ease your way onto the apron. STAY TO THE RIGHT once you're on pit road.

Then you stay to the right again on pit road after leaving your stall, and ride the access road all the way thru turns 1 and 2 until you reach the backstretch, and you stay to the left side of the racing surface all the way down the backstreatch until you are in turn 3.

Note: I edited the above after being corrected by D3efan. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Correction. Bov don't make me make a teamate re-read the rules page 50 times! lol While the ramp is there I think, you need not use it ENTERING the pit at Brickyard. At least it's not in the rules (and it shouldn't be!). Enter coming off turn 4. Please stay low while exiting turn 4 and don't swoop down the track to enter the pits. I'll be watching

Oh yeah, I'll especially be watching you speedy lol, to keep all 4 on the pavement jk. While not manadatory as far as I know, and I can't do it well at all either, no going cross country to gain an advantage.
