Darn Fuel races!
NBS Michigan
Re: NBS Michigan
Was fun racing with you for those first 12 laps, Bover. If only you ran a fuel set we may have been able to give lepage and d3 some trouble.
Good clean racing sorry Pparady about slipping off the apron in front of you I'm glad you didn't have to move up much. My tires were way to worn out.

Re: NBS Michigan
That's because I ran a sprint set. No threat of running out of fuel... Unlike cup, the fuel set wasn't really slower than the sprint set. So, if I'd done my homework on the NBS setup, I'd have run fuel too.

Re: NBS Michigan
I know what you mean Bov, but I didn't have time to tell ya since I only practiced the bush race a few hours before the event. And fuel gears were what I tested first and it seemed to work out so I said that's what I was gonna do. I believe if Kyle and you could have hooked up and drafted, like me and Lepage (even though it was unplanned), the results would have been different.
On a self-indulgent note, I've been trying to get my name on a Michigan (the home track) trophy for 6 years....

I know ya talking about there d3 (mine was 4 years in real life racing though) the hard work all pays off when the day is done, holding a cold beer and it finally sinks in that ya done it.d3efan wrote:On a self-indulgent note, I've been trying to get my name on a Michigan (the home track) trophy for 6 years....

Re: NBS Michigan
d3's a notoriously sluggish starter. He rounds into form by the end of the season.
