a certain anti-virus program or pop-up blocker may also be causing the drop down menus to not, well, drop down! lol

this has something to do with the PHP code for the NHRL website. It may have been upgraded recently,or your code for your website is interfering with it,since you have recently reinstalled your operating system.

Speedy, I don't want to bust your bubble, but What exactaly are you trying to tell him? Do you know? I am not sure we know exactly what his problem is.

What is it exactly you're having a problem with Tj?

Everything works fine on the home page for me, I am using IE8 with windows XP.

Start by telling us what operating system and what browser version you're using. then tell us exactly what your trying to do.

The error message that wild keeps getting is due to Warning: mysql_fetch_object(): is due to you aren't allowed to open a file on the site with a certain file called file_get_contents() funtion. Now there is an easy remedy for this.. But to make things easy on you wild I would follow up with Bover on this one, and tell him exactly what kind of browser you are using. 90 percent chance it seems your using a very outdated browser when you connect to the site. If I was you the simpliest thing to do is upgrade whatever browser you are currently using.

Don't worry about the MySQL error messages. Those are entirely from the website. They will sometimes come up when we're editing or changing things. If you come across an error message that lasts for a long period of time, then let us know about it because it's probably not something that we know about.

Like others, I'm a little confused about the links problem. Is there an issue with the menu on older browsers? It should work on the last two versions of Internet Explorer and all versions of FireFox.

the Mich track is correct, the richmond should say 18...I believe..though the Sprint race listed at the top of schedule may be causing some confusion.

That's your whole problem right there! Aside from not being able to view web pages like the NHRL pages correctly, do you know how many security problems you open yourself up to by using outdated software?

Again, we need to know what Operating System/Browser combination Tjwild is using.

Where are you getting this info from? All those things you referred to above are correct and point to the correct track/race info when clicked. There is no confusion except on your end, apparently.

If you are running anything older than windows xp and ie8 (or the latest version of firefox, etc, then you are commiting computer suicide. I certainly hope you don't do any banking on your computer.

I am not trying to be a smartass here Speedy, but please people, if you are not an expert on this stuff, please don't go sending someone on a wild goose chase. Leave it to the pros, which isn't even me in this case, but I can tell that the answer given above certainly isn't the correct one.

Bov,I dont have any problems. No i dont do any banking on this computer ,or ANY computer. With all the vulnerabilities
in ALL of the O.S's and browser's both Mozilla and I.E.. ..all versions (which btw are the 2 most used browsers and most commonly attacked of all the browsers available) I only use this computer for 'Gaming" purposes .
The internet we now use is precariuosly teetering on the edge of self destruction and its future is quite unclear.
To waste more time or money on constant upgrading to me is ridiculous, for a system that does for me want i want it to do...Gaming. .Tjs system btw is Win xp (I E 7 ),
