Rendering

Post by Henderson »

Hey. I was just wondering if anyone (Probably Bover) has a Render Maker for an NHRL Cup car. Thanks for any help.

I think what Reef was trying to say BMX, is that to do all that, you'd have to crack the .car file like you said. Then, import the .mod into zmod, and then export it as a .3ds, and import that into 3DS Max. In the meantime, for any of this to work, you'd have to convert about 6 tex files to TGA's, but to do that, you have to download the .tex viewer and figure that out as well.

Then, you'd have to have all these files in the right place, and maybe if you've figured it all out, you'd get an acceptable render after some ten hours of work.

I think that McMurray was hoping I'd have a Max download he could just plug his paint into and render it, Thus saving him 10 hours (much more if he has to figure out all this stuff on the fly). Otherwise, he wouldn't have asked for it.

Reef isn't picking on you, BMX. I suspect that he's just pointing out that your answer doesn't help McMurray at all, and comes off pretty cocky, so why bother?

Now, BMX..... I know you've gotten picked at for a lot of stuff you've said here, but When, (Please point out one instance for me) have you ever asked for legitimate help, and gotten a useless, cocky response like that?

That said....
McMurray, I really don't want to give out the render scenes I've made, but if you send me your tga, I'll be more than glad to render it for ya.

Well I had figured Mc had only wanted it to see how his car lined up and what not, wasnt thinking he was going to make screenshots. And it wasnt cocky as I know Mc has cracked a .car file before.

Actually, at the risk of being "muted", I was picking on him. I, for one, am very tired of someone who knows very little about the ins and outs of the game being the first to give wrong advice just to have a higher post count than yesterday and to see his own name in print. I am very surprised he didn't advise to run end it all.

Almost forgot...
