Does anyone have the old nextel2004 templates for psp7? I have looked in the download section and I have looked in the paint studio section but cant find the templates. Is the nbs and the nextel2004 templates the same? I even looked at Bover Custom Paints and couldnt find it. Maybe Im not looking hard enough.

though the nh2k6 mod is quite nice.

LOL so Reef your saying that the nextel2004 is the same template as the original cup template. I didnt relise that I thought there may have been a slight difference.

Nextel 2004 was more a carset than a mod. I do beoieve it had it's own screens (which makes it a mod) but the cars were the original car model, with the original game physics.

Any of heats templates for the original car will work on painting cars for that mod, but it just depends on what you want your car to look like as to how old a template you use.

Nextel Heat 2004 was a full blown mod made by Team Westside (Gonk24 and TWChad) and it had its own models and physics.

It was a revamped version of the Thunder2Heat mod they did in 2003 and was followed by the Nextel Heat 2005 mod and then the last mod Team Westside made, Nextel Heat 2006.

These same basic models are now found in the COT Advanced (as the spoiler models) and as the Nationwide Series cars in the COT Platinum versions.

Just wanted to clarify that.

I think the confustion lies in that the NHRL made a nextel2004 mod. And Team Westside made a Nextel Heat series of mods.

The Nextel 2004 mod from the NHRL featured the original Stock.car file with new screens and such.







The Team Westside series of Nextel Heat mods were full featured mods which as bubba mentioned were an improvement over the Thunder 2 Heat mod, which was made from EA Sport's Nascar Thunder 2003 models.

jes, if you're talking about our Nextel2004 mod, then use our NBS template. It's a good template for the original models. In fact, it's among the best.
