Only on track penalties tho, not pit penalties. And it would have to be 2 or 3 consecutive races, not just for penalty in 1 race.

I kind of like this idea because it would create some consequences for drivers who 1) are further back in points and 2) don't care about penalties. The chance of starting in the back would provide a more tangible reason to follow the rules.

I voted no! Double indemity? The driving infraction was already penalized and Now u want to penalize them further? What about
guys that wreck u and dont recieve a penalty, for some unknown reason?Do something about that instead!

Don't hold back, Speedy! Tell us how you really feel! lmao...
I think the year we did this, it was a good deterent for penalties. A person can complete races and dare I say whole seasons without penalties. It is possible and has been done. Look at CR for example. He has the lowest number of penaltiy points (5) out of anyone that started at least 18 races. Even less than most of the admins
It may be double jeparody, but if we want to avoid that, don't get penalties. It's all about caring about and making an effort to follow the rules.

Im gonna say yes. It's not double jeopardy as it will be an entirely new rule to be followed. All admins will discuss the potential penalty and it will look some thing like this:

Re: Penalties forcing Starting in the Back
Ok...I recieved most of my penalty points for pit lane violations, not because i dont abide by the rules ,but because most of them were committed
while i was making pit adjustments while going down pit road and in the confusion ,either veered off the correct lane or missed my pits .Other wise i would have done much better in final standings.

I dont feel that this is too fair if is was an accident or mistake.
Re: Penalties forcing Starting in the Back
penalty or no penalty i start in the back all most every race so im good with it lol but i do agree with grover ( Only on track penalties tho, not pit penalties. And it would have to be 2 or 3 consecutive races, not just for penalty in 1 race.)
Re: Penalties forcing Starting in the Back
Yes, those deemed unsafe should start in the back, just like the rookies.... maybe don't do it for mistakes but rather based on consistency
