Starting in CTS, we're adopting a modified, more flexible approach for dealing with pitting infractions. In the future, we'll either deduct points, as we do right now, send drivers to the back of the grid in their next race, or assess a combination of both measures. Our rationale for this is that we don't necessarily need to deduct points for every minor pitting gaffe, but we do want every driver to understand our pitting guidelines.
Please note, no actual rules have changed. As always, the pitting guidelines are readily available on our rules page, videos page, and forum.
