Updated NBS Template
Updated the NBS Template with 2015 Camaro, Camry, Challenger & Mustang and updated to Xfinity contingency's. Also included a car Mesh layer. Enjoy and get the brushes wet.

I'm not sure that I understand the question. There isn't any mandatory car template.
You have quite a few options for painting cars for the NBS mod. You can use the original 2006 NBS templates, Spike's updated 2015 NBS templates (in this thread), or Bandit's recent throwback Pontiac template. All good choices.
