Heat and G920 wheel help.

Post by JRich60 »

Hi all,

Back after a few years. I am trying to get things going for NascarHeat again. Win 10.

Got a Logitech G920 wheel, pedals and shifter. Also installed the GHub software.

Trying to figure out how to assign commands to buttons. All I see are pre set commands in the software. Do I have to make Macros for new commands?

Also, how can I program the shifter in the game? Seems I can only get 1 upshift and 1 downshift, Would like to be able to actually use shifter like a 4 speed than a sequnential shifter. Is that possible in that old of a game?

Looking forward to racing with everyone again. see ya'll at Iowa on the 7th.

J Rich it can be done, Speedyman11 helped me. For some reason I can't remember what mod it was. You have to map it through your options file first. Sorry I am not much help on this.

Thanks guys,

I kind of figured it would have to be done through the options.cfg file. I thought I had found something on Mod Squad but I forget where I found it...lol

Will try and find Speedy to see if he can help me.

Thanks again
