multiplayer problems

ok,i just reinstalled everything starting with orig.Nascar Heat cd,the patches in order,and finally got the orig.Heat to go into multi mode by setting Compatibility mode to work under win 2000,but the CTS mod i cant get it to go into multiplayer mode.I tried to send Heat.LOG but this forum told me i cant send a .log file?????????

copy/paste the log file into notepad then upload it here

ok.i uninstalled the cts mod and tried the NHRL cup and no go.I notice in the log that it says Data directory but i dont have a data directory any more.I changed it to run like it said to.one problem i found out was when i was trying to go multi,i didnt know at the time,but the Nhrl server offline
That didnt help my frustration much at all.BTW,I have upgraded to XP home and IE 8

Also,my sound is awful in any mod but the original heat

Try copying your "Run" folder and renaming it to "Data" so you have both in there.

Thx for input ,Reef. It was that splash screen problem that the CTS mod .exe install has .....>>> just added -mod:cts at the end of the "target" to.
