Any rookie may register for our CTS mini-series (September to November). However, in order to compete, you'll need to come to the server at least one hour before each race. The reason for this is because the administrators need to review your driving skills during the practice sessions. We'll either give you approval to race or ask you to prepare more. For more details on this process, you should re-read the information on on our signup page.
We highly recommend you practice for each race! If you show up unprepared, then it's unlikely that you'll be approved to race. I should also mention that knowing the rules is a big plus. You'll be asked to demonstrate certain things in the server.
Good luck! We look forward to seeing you in the server. Let us know if you have any questions.

Re: Note to Rookies
I have a question,...if a rookie signed up for the CTS mini series and asked for a spasific number earlyer this year do they have to do it again? ...

Re: Note to Rookies
If you are going to race in the just announced 2010 CTS series you MUST post your number selection and tex file (if required) in the official numbers/car files thread in the CTS forum. If someone has already selected a number you wanted in that thread, or they are already on the CTS roster with that number, you will have to arm wrestle them for it. We tried bare-knuckle boxing last year with unfortunate results...
