Hi all. We apologize for the limited news in recent weeks.

As you might remember, our original plan was to start the new year off with the 2014 Nationwide Series, using bover's new mod. Unfortunately, bover is unavailable to complete the project at this time, which as most know has created a delay. As we develop alternative plans for 2014, we'd like to get a count of league members who are interested/able to compete in our next series. First, we want to make sure that we have enough drivers to host a competitive series. Second, we'd like to give league members enough time to realize that we're going to be getting into the swing of things again.

So, assuming our next series will be Cup on Saturday nights, it would be very helpful to get a sense of numbers and who's looking to race again.

Please note that we've also launched a poll regarding the Cup Series starting time. We did the same for Nationwide back in the winter.

Just as a reminder, we are looking for everyone who is interested in competing to post a note here, so after our layoff we can get a rough idea of drivers for our next series. Right now, we know of just a few. The sooner we can get things organized, the sooner we can get back to action.

Thank you to everyone who's posted so far. If you haven't chimed in yet, please stop by and leave us a note.

One brief change of plans to share. It's probably going to make more sense to run Trucks as our first series this year (instead of Cup). Bover's given us a recent update about his status and the prospect of completing the proposed Nationwide and Cup mods. He's still planning on finishing them, time and personal matters permitting of course. Given this possibility, I think it's probably wise to start 2014 with Trucks.

As an aside, the current poll about the Cup starting time still applies, but we'll edit the title so that it now pertains to Trucks.

For those of you looking to set their calendar, we're thinking that Saturday, August 9th will be a good start date for the 2014 Truck Series. That means we'll be returning to competition in just a couple of weeks. We appreciate all of the patience as we organize the league for racing once again.

Look for the official schedule and registration thread at the start of next week.

ARL has a 2 hour endurance race at Daytona August 23rd, other than that I should be able to make all the races if we're starting August 9th, cant wait to see a schedule.
