Re: Twitter Attention
Nice exchange. The driver in NHRL was Etab.

Around the same period, I remember he was also operating a restrictor-plate-ONLY NR2003 league called Vidane.

Re: Twitter Attention
Hmmm. Did you know he writes for nascar.com now?
Oh yeah, really good racers there. I learned a lot from guys like Lepage, Rookiesrock, kyle4445 and a couple others

Oh, I see there's a longer thread there. That's very nice for him to say.
No, but I do recall seeing his name pop up somewhere not too long ago. It might have been on the HeatFinder Facebook page but I'm not sure.

He's the one who did the NASCAR Heat theme song via Recorder
Steve works social media at NBC Sports NASCAR Coverage and also runs RandomFantasyRacing.com, really great guy.
He ran some leagues both in Heat and future games.
He still calls us out sometimes, even on the NBCSN NASCAR channels when discussing old racing games.

Re: Twitter Attention
I wonder if many others made it somewhere in the sport from the IRF/early league days?

Re: Twitter Attention
My bad, Steve Luvender () is at NASCAR.com and Trading Paints/iRacing (https://twitter.com/steveluvender)
Ryan DeCosta is at NBC Sports (https://twitter.com/RyanDeCostaNBC)
And, Cody Flicker has done some car design work and does graphic design on the new NASCAR Heat games / 704 Games (https://twitter.com/ApocApollo)
All of them used to race with us, these are the only ones I know.

Re: Twitter Attention
I recall bgbollin saying that he was pursuing a technical degree that applied to the auto racing industry. It was engineering-related. He hung around here for a couple of years but I also knew him from when I used to run with him in the Josparky GOBRL Heat-turned-NR2003 league.
