Truck Series help

Hey guys, I am joining the Truck series for this season and I just installed the mod tonight for the first time ever, lol.

But I was running some laps at Tona and the 2nd lap the truck started losing speed and over heating at only like upper 6000 RPM's, am I missing something? Does it only use 3 gears?

well, not sure what ur doing, too much tape mabye.... it most certinally does have 4 gears, but you cant be using a cup/busch setup for it.. that could also be ur problem...

Yeah, one thing to remember is that the trucks don't use restrictor plates, therefore if you are putting the same ammount of tape on your dayona truck as a daytona car, it's certain death for the motor!

to be certain weather it's the mod install or the setup, download a daytona truck setup off the league site, and run some more laps. If you don't smoke it up, go back to the garage. lol

hey camry.

go to the downloads page here at nhrl, then go all the way to the bottom of the page and download Gr8-1's cts setups. you wont need a password. Then make sure you put them in the correct folders in your cts mod.

then try his daytona setup and see if it runs normally.

Wow guys, thanks for the responses.

After I made my post I did figure out the grill tape issue, but it still seemed to be working hard.

I will test some more tonight with all your feedback and post an update here.

Is anyone going to be on tonight testing around 10pm or so?

Password for the setup page is the same as it is to get into the server for a race so if you don't know that password by now you have problems. LOL So if you still don't know it send me an email and I will email it to ya. work81@mchsi.com
