Cautions? ... have an idea

sounds kind of stupid...but what if we had someone drive around in a custom painted 'pace car' ... and everyone lined up behind it...giving 2 or 3 laps in the start of the race under yellow to get the tires warmed up...and then when the race is under way, and someone wrecks, the 'pace car driver' would see that, call out a caution and everyone lines up.... and you could do the whole lucky dog thing.... idk...it could work....just thinkin out loud...
