5. Dover Downs Results and Point Standings

Just to clarify one thing about the points system...the worst point totals are dropped, not the worst finishes. Worst finishes and worst point totals often represent the same thing, but bonus points and penalties can obviously raise or lower point totals in relation to finishes.

Note #1: until the new site is operational, you can also access past standings by changing around the web address. We use the same naming convention week after week, so simply match the season event number and course name (Dover Downs, with a space, turns into doverdowns, same with Las Vegas > lasvegas, Watkins Glen > watkinsglen, IndyRC T > indyrct, etc.).

Note #2: we fixed an error in the NHRL standings program that we use, this week's and all past weeks' Cup Series standings reflect the correction.
