users can see that someone else has just entered or exited from here? i'll see someone in here, and while sending a Pm , they exit ,without scrolling to bottom,(which i usually do to check if someone just popped in)and miss it until later,when they return>Just thought it would be nice to see who's in here,when 1st come in etc
