IndyRC is a 2.5-mile road course with 13 corners and a 55 MPH speed limit on pit road. The league competed at IndyRC for the first time during the 2006 season. Since its league debut, the track has hosted 23 races in 3 series. As a member of the road course group, IndyRC places a b emphasis on track awareness, smooth driving, and patience. Moreover, drivers can face large penalties for ignoring the off-roading rules at IndyRC. The rules require every competitor to keep a minimum of two tires completely on the racing surface at all times. A driver who gains an unfair advantage by driving off of the course will be penalized, regardless of whether the strategy is inadvertent or intentional. |
